Sherri’s fascination with design began at a very young age when she read a book that described building furniture pieces out of found objects. Later in life, she became the friend-consultant about anything home decor related. She finally decided to undertake the Residential Interiors Program at the University of Alberta – graduating in 2010 with courses in Building Construction and Green Design as her chosen specialties. This led to commercial and residential projects around the city, ranging from simple colour consults to full blown projects where construction, design and decor elements were in play.
She approaches each project by discovering what chord the client wants their home to strike. Her philosophy is that is isn’t simple about looking at one’s space, it’s about living within the space. It’s a symbiotic relationship that that is pivotal in creating the end result of a desirable and functional home. Individuals and design are ever-evolving and Sherri honours that, whether it is with an accessory that makes you smile or a whole home of moments.
